Complexity can arise quickly from simplicity: A surprising pattern is made when a simple array of 600 triangles is printed once and then a second time with a slight rotation relative to the first.
A thing can appear quite different according to the perspective you take. Observing this concertina form directly, the viewer sees a patchwork of triangles; When viewed askance from the left and then the right, complementary waveforms emerge. Each time the assortment of triangles is the same, but the organisation and so the effect is different.
